*** Crysis 2 ***

Right I've played all 3 versions and here is what I think. The PS3 version is the worst version but it's not quite as bad as I expected. Hard to put into text but if I say that the PC version (on my PC) is 100%, then then Xbox 360 version is 80% and the PS3 version is 60%. The PS3 version looks the worst and runs (FPS) the worst.

Saying that, on a MP game such as this, you don't get time to look at textures, it's all about kills/deaths. It might widen the gap if the SP game is slow paced and you explore etc.

for me, I'll probably buy the game on the Xbox 360 when it reaches that magic £17.99 price in a couple of months to play the MP and then buy it on the PC in a steam sale to play the SP at christmas.

TBH I can't see the point of this game. It has very little to do with Crysis 1 and it's never going to compete with COD.

£17.99 or less and it will be worth a laugh for the odd MP game on the Xbox 360 with a mate.
 
Pretty much my conclusion - concepts pretty generic and throwaway. Think I expected too much from Crytek :(, but I had hope they were going in the right direction from Crysis to Crysis Warhead...

Ill be picking it up for the PC in the steam sales when its cheap enough...

Absolute crap game. Looks bloody awful as well.

Crytek should have stopped at Far Cry on the PC and called it quits. Everything after that has been complete ****.
 
Wasn't really blown away by it. It's like Crysis 2 is trying to be serious and silly at the same time. Mutlitplayer, trying to be CoD while mixing in elements in Bulletstorm and what we'll see in Brink, when it comes to sliding on the floor while shooting and free running.

Probably won't pick it up, well not for full price anyway. As a PS3 owner as well I'm a bit disappointed by the sub par standard when in relation to the 360. It's not like developers haven't had time to get used to the PS3 now.
 
Cant believe Ive only just noticed this game.

Thought it would be another COD clone. Glad to see it isnt.

Whats all this about there being a difference between the ps3 and xbox version?

Is it really that bad?
 
I thought this was out on Friday 25th?

Why are people basing opinions on the final product after playing the pre release demo which probably isn't the final build?

After the complete slagging off that bulletstorm got.. And that turned out to be a pretty fun game IMO..
