For god sakes Crytek, stop trying to promote the game with all of the flashy "Interactive Environment" ****... RELEASE THE BLOODY GAME ALREADY!!!!!! lol... Are you guys getting as annoyed as me with all of this Promotion stuff and not even a Demo yet? Its Pathetic tbh. Surely they have enough publicity already!??!! :rolleyes:

If it were released full of bugs and lacking content, the complaints would be massive.

If there were no information available at this stage, people would be complaining and calling it a 'bad omen'.

To be honest, I can't believe you're complaining about having TOO MUCH information floating around. Really, if you're getting tired of it, don't watch. Simple.

Tbh im glad crytek are taking their time with crysis. I dont want a game that keeps crashing all the time and is buggy and requires a million patches.
I dont want another STALKER :(

Crysis is still pre-alpha btw ;)
 
Jesus christ. Whats the point in a forum if there arn't posts like this?.... The whole point is for discussion. Don't bother flaming me saying Stuff like "Yeah They're really going to listen to you" etc. Im just giving my opinion. I just find it annoying how they are delaying the release so much. And there are such things as patches....

They are just doing their job. Plenty of games get hyped for a long while before launch now.

Only thing I don't like are adverts with pre-rendered garbage. That is mis-leading the public.

But what you're on about is fine, don't know what you're getting so frustrated about.
 
likewise, would rather they took there time and released a good running game unlike stalker, etc, and i also totally agree its getting a bit old all these 'crysis' related threads, its becoming like conroe threads in CPU and overclocking/cooling, AMD are doomed threads in CPU, AMD/ATI are doomed threads in GPU and finally HD2900XT will not beat 8800GTX threads :mad:
 
I think a demo should be on the cards imo. We've seen a lot of cool video's of late showing some nice levels. I'm sure they could use just one of these in a small demo for people, other than privileged guests which have had hands on experience already. The demo where the guy is punching the metal hut/shack has been out for awhile, perhaps that could be a "taster" level?

Anywho, imo I think a demo should be out sooner rather than later. With the amount of interviews and gameplay footage I've seen, I can't really see a reason why not. And if people think they won't release one incase it's full of bugs, then all they have to do is slap a big disclaimer on the start saying "THIS IS A DEMO AND MAY CONTAIN BUGS".

Job done. :)
 
In a weird kind of way, I really hope they don't release a demo at all, just say something like "the official Crysis Demo will be released on 20th december!" (for example, to get everyone salivating like mad, and getting whipped up into a mad frenzy..

Then actually release the full game.
