Crysis Benchmarks Appear

hope that just a driver issue that causing this low performance...£2000 PC's really isnt what game developers should be designing their games for.

The closer we get, the more we'll see these kinds of posts!

The game isn't finished yet... so the benchmarks mean nothing.

Let's see what happens when it hits the shelves.

It must be driver issues, either that or they are gonna have absolutely awful sales. Pity they didn't have benches for the lower quality settings.

I think Doom3 had similar issues when people ran demos of the unfinished product. Vista + unfinished game = pain and suffering ;).

How can you benchmark something that isn't available? There is no "demo" to benckmark. a lot of rubbish.

Having said that, by the time it comes out, I doubt I'll be playing it on my current rig.

They should be developing these games so that £4000 systems have a hard time, and provide enough options through video settings etc etc to enable it to run on a £300 system imho.

Richie.

if you want to pay attention to garbage like this go ahead.

a pair of 8800's, quad processor and all that memory... giving scores like that?

highly dubious, common sense would indicate it's utter drivel.

This is from an interview with Jack Mamais, Lead Designer of Crysis...

6) Could you please tell us your system specs and explain how well Crysis is running on it?

I have an Athlon 3500+ Processor and a Radeon X1900 with 2 gigs of Ram and Crysis runs great on my machine at most settings. The official specs are not final yet, but rest assured it will run on 3 year old computers by the time we release our game.
