I'm not to sure if this has already been done but i think its a thread everyone would like to have a poke at !

Whats your system spec ?
What settings are you running the beta on ?
What sort of FPS are you achieving ?
 
Heres mine.

Q6600, 8800 GTX, 4GB.
1204 X 1024, Everything on high with no AA
Im Getting 30 - 40 FPS outside, and average 60 Inside.
 
Specs in Sig

1280x1024 Everything High No AA or AF XP 32bit

C2D E6600 @ 2.86Ghz, 2GB memory, 7800GTX, Vista, 1280x1024 everything set to medium, game runs way below 20fps, in crowded spaces it's almost unplayable. Suffering from weird texture loading on startups as well, if I run to places I haven't been before, like spawn point on top of ship I see yellow texture placeholders with code, framerame drops to a crawl, textures are loaded, first in poor quality, then gradually better...

1152x864, High (without motion blur, disabled in config with various performance tweaks that don't affect visuals)
Averaging 35-40 outside and 60+ inside.
 
That's normal. It's the game compiling the textures for the first time you bump into them. After one full match or so, you won't see such graphical problems again.
 
I have that door issue on the door on top of the war factory, the entrance to the air duct. It isn't a compiling issue. It looks fine from one side, and the other side looks fine when the door is open.

Also, Nymins, did you get much of a boost disabling motion blur?

Quite noticeable for me. With it on, it sort of jittered slightly each time a turned round really quick. Doesn't do that now. Feels a lot smoother, but obviously loses the nice visual effect.
 
I know this might be hi-jaking the thread a little, but ive only played the beta once and i had constant graphic issues like the picture above, but they never seem to go away. Is there something i should be installing etc. I have update the Drivers for my Graphics card to the latest.

Spec in Sig.
 
How do you diable the motion blur, i can deal without it for now :)

Also the official release, how much better do you guys think it will run. How much more FPS etc do you think we'll be seeing.
 
Add this to the system.cfg in the root directory folder:

r_MotionBlur=0

It should work. If not, then go into the postprocessing cfg in the Cvargroups folder and change all the r_MotionBlur=1 to r_MotionBlur=0
 
Well id suspect a fair boost as apparently its running a debugger and compiler in the background, and there is only single core support in the beta.
 
This beta has a debugger running in the backround. The final release should be a fair bit quicker.

Too quick for ya :p

Im on XP and could people also state whether they are using any AF instead of just 'no AA' would help others know as well.

High everything barely breaks 10fps at 1680x1050
Low everything barely breaks 20 fps at 800x600
Vista x64

Dodgy as performance when I tried the Beta! :p
