Nothing to worry about. I've never seen it in Crysis before but it's just some vertexs going out of control. It's not in all the levels is it?

you get those sort of errors when your GPU is overheating i believe, 'smudges' (as i call them) when GPU is too hot, dots and sparklies when memory is too hot

1900 xt here and that pic could have been taken from my pc.

I use ATI tools and put the fan to 100% and reduced the problem by 95%, bit noisy though.

One problem I have though is that I have to re-install my graphic drivers every time I want to play the game or I carn't see anything apart from corruption .

i used to get that all the time when my 7900gs was dying, it was overheating and suffering memory leaks or something, RMA'd it and got a replacement

Happened to me when I grabbed a korean by it's throat once.
Was gone when I threw him away again though and didn't ever happen again.

I get it quite often, not in any other game just Crysis. I'm running an 8800 gts 320mb. Gets really annoying as well, don't think card is overheating as riva tuner is reporting the temp at about 70. Tried different drivers well to no avail. :(

had similar artifacts awhile back on tiger woods, overclocked the card abit too much, over-heated and some how the 12v line fried on the molex connector! The card still lives to this day :p

Id check your loads temps, heat is usually the first candidate.

Happened to me ages back in CFS3. Turned out my 6600GT was buggered and needed to be RMA'd.

Sorry about the quality of the pics, they're quite a few years old and have been resized and messed about with numerous times.

Heres some good one i got on my 7900gs.
Best was when it was a single spike thought, it would track other players so i effectivly had a glitched wallhack :D

Only thing i can think is its overheating as the card isn't overclocked. Other than trying to fix another fan in my case pointing on the gfx card, would be to rma it. But leaves me without a card then, just strange it only happens in Crysis and not other games, but suppose Crysis does tax the card more.

Try reinstalling the drivers. Uninstall first and then use driversweeper...then reinstall.

I had this problem and it was due to bad drivers.

Do you have patch v1.1 for crysis?

Not sure if it would make any difference, but at least its something less that it could be.

Reduce the core speed of your GPU.
Yes we know it's stock but the evidence speaks for itself, thats a GPU on the edge.

Also you could try reseating the heatsink.
Put some decent TIM on the core before re assembly.

Make sure the Heatsink and fan on the card are clear of dust and fluff use a paint brush to dust it out (after removing it from your case.
