I'd call him trash...or a chav :D

hahahahahahahahaha.

Oh dear, we are uptight on this thread arn't we. Thank the lord, it's only this thread, and that others on this forum are a little more open to discussion and not quite so daming!

Pretty sad!

Your derogatory insults to anyone who opposes your initial post are excellent Friday afternoon humour.

If you think that's fun, you should try replying to some of them who take the bait... certainly a good way of winding down the week!!!!!

Amazing what response you can get when you casually mention STALKER!!!!

Cheers for the fun!

agreed. only so long i can be bothered to read/respond to such nonsense to be honest.

i'm not too worried. generally i'm glad to see games being delayed. rather that than stuff being rushed out. hoping for Crysis to be something special.

No WAi!!!!

You mean EA are Actually going to finnish off a game and give the Devs time to find the bugs and not make them rush it?

WHats the world coming to :p

If you remember Far Cry was delayed many times, and was finally launched at the same time patch 1.1 was released. You cant rush innovation :p

Anyway, look on the bright side, it gives you more time to play more Far Cry and if you havent tried it to take a look at Obsidian Edge 1 :D

Yup im a cyber pimp...

(Obsidian Edge 2 is one of two modifications selected by Crytek to recieve the Crysis Pre-SDK and support from Crytek during development)

Good. At least we don't get a rushed, buggy piece of crap ala BF2/2142. Looks like EA might actually be learning.
you hope
could still be a crappy rushed pile of tat for all you know!

The vast majority of big titles get delayed.

Doom3? late
HL2? late
Oblivion? late
Prey? late

To be fair EA are usually pretty good in that their Sports/NFS titles are nearly always out on time, and usually with a demo released BEFORE the full game.

EA arnt making the game, only publishing it

After the last couple of EA titles I've tried, I'm starting to think that they don't actually have any widescreen monitors in their buildings! ;)

Bit of a fan of Far Cry then? :) I thought this delay was already known, I had read of a Q2 release before this... Also myself I'm hoping it will be an improvement on FC, I don't want another style over substance shooter...

Far Cry? Moi?

ROFL....
Just a bit...
I guess fan is a bit of an understatement...

Im the Ubisoft Forum Moderator & I lead the team running the Ubisoft Community Servers (EU Assault 1&2)
If you have patched to 1.4 Ive got my name on the last screen of the credits as part of the patch team and as a member of the Polishing Weevils Im currently playing around with the Crysis Pre-SDK.
And Im typing this in a red Hawaiian shirt... (nothing else mind... )

Okay the last line is a lie... :D ;)
But yep, self confessed Crytek fanboi... :p

Style over substance? Hmm Far Cry was comic strip formulaeic in story, but the free roaming levels created so many variables about how to approach most levels I would say it had more substance than most other FPS, from the details that Crytek have made public, its difficult to see what else they could include.

At the end of the day though all it will be judged on is by how it plays...
