Well with eveything on high except for shadows, post processing and object detail which are medium I get 25-30 fps at 1680x1050 with my 8800GTS 320Mb.

This is smooth and i'm happy with it considering my amd cpu.

Hopefully tomorrow I will get the GT and things will improve :D
 
i had the demo running between 11-25fps today on my current setup, that was 1440x900 and all settings on medium with no AA.

3800x2 @2.55
1gb ddr400
X1950GT 600/1550

still looked prettier than farcry really at that level, and such a great game :D....cant wait for full version.
 
with the graphic card set to performance and crysis on high with 1280x1024 i get

Min Max Avg
17 45 29.562

using stock q6600 and slight oc 8800gtx
 
With everything high, apart from Shadows on medium, and Post processing on medium, i get just under 36 average at 1280x960 in XP on my 320mb GTS, at 1280x1024 it drops to around 33. something.
 
At 1280x1024 with all on high except a couple of things on very high I get 32fps gpu benchmark on 64bit version DX10 on my GTS.
 
K i run @ 1024x768 MEDIUM settings and get:-

CPUscore 44fps average
GPUscore 45fps average

System as sig

Its just about playable with everything on high, but i prefer the higher framerate of the Medium settings.

The 2900xt is an inificient monster, If we compare to the better GTS's shure it's a little better and yes the performance is Fantastic but we are a Year on from the GTS, I know it's just a die shrink but i still think it uses to much power and runs too hot.
Don't get Me wrong it's the best card available to date, but we have nothing to compare it's efficiency to for a couple of weeks !
