I run the game on high but it still looks great in medium tbh!

Never saw any bugs myself, and got playable framerates throughout with everything on high (see sig) under XP, running 1280*960 with no AA.
Resolution/AA has a big impact on framerates, and using Vista doesn't help either, and obviously very high is a big no-no.
Definitely worth playing IMO.

Just gone back to the game after finishing it just after it came out.
Took off my custom config, set all to high with shaders and sound on very high, and WOW!
The game looks amazing now, runs great. Must be a combination of my going SLI, and new drivers/patches. I was never amazed by the game, but i've now changed my mind!

This sort of ties in with what I posted in the Cooling/OC section.
Since fitting a BFG 8800GT 512Mb my PC has been getting seriously hot (as in >65C CPU, > 75C GPU) running Crysis, just on the early levels (I'm as far as the dome at present). I've got things cranked up pretty high at present so I think I'm going to have to turn the detail down a tad to restore some stability (the graphics have been glitching in some places).
It's only Crysis which has had this effect - I've got Flight Sim X and Test Drive Unlimited cranked up and temperatures are a good 10C cooler on the GPU and CPU.
