Not sure what you mean, if you mean the cropped aspect, the game does that a few times in animations.

The boat/trees are frozen so cant be the white tree bug in new drivers.

1024x768, no AA, Everything on high accept for shadows on low, post processing on medium, shaders medium. Most of the time it sticks to 30fps but on the odd occasion it would drop to 20 -25fps, not bad for my system hey?, see in sig.

This thread is in the wrong section, I think it needs to be in the sound section and titled 'crysis sound probs?'

:D

ps: try listening to what they are saying. :p

i think he means if you had payed attension and listened to the words then u would know that the area on screen had been frozen. lol

I'm a pretty random chappy myself but as I was in here I thought logically about it all. That's where I went wrong ! :D.

Exactly. I think the words are something like..

"when did the Koreans get a mummyluvin' freeze ray". :D

LMAO Aye.

Am I the only one having real graphics problems with Crysis (on two computers running completely different hardware and OS no less)? Nothing appears to be rendering properly, unless it's a light source, everything else appears grey/black. When lightening flashes over the landscape I can see for a split second (and half of the land is see through) but then everything just goes dark again. It's a very strange effect...
This is happening on two computers, one with a ATI Radeon X1950Pro 512MB and Vista 64bit, the other with a Nvidia GeForce 7800GT and XP.

I'll post a screenshot if I get a chance later, but I have no idea what exactly the problem is or any clue how to solve it (especially since it occurs on any graphics settings).

Post that screen 'till we get a look.

Truth be told its not a good depiction of a frozen area it doesn't look frozen over more like an area that has been dosed by radiation would you agree?

I get some red textures and a little texture tearing on the GPU benchmark only at 1280 x 1024 res, 1024x768 is 100% fine.

I'd say it's a ATI driver issue ;)

Just used 2x AA and it still runs fine prob about 3 or 4fps loss and looks so much better, accept theres markings in the display but there only noticable when its dark, anyway to get rid of this?

Ive also notice when aa is enabled, vsync is disabled from the ati control panel

I coulda sworn my x1900 doesent display that last cinematic like that =/ With the white being that bright and all....I'll have to check when I get home.

But when i first started the demo up I couldn't see anything...That was on the 7.9 drivers...Upgraded to the 7.10's and everything's fine.

AGP or PCI-E?.

This is what I mean about the graphic interference when AA is used, anyway to get rid of it?? I am using the latest drivers 7.10's
