Crysis Minimum Specs Released!!!!

Hey guys,
Well, the Crysis system requirements have been released and are on the official Crysis forums released from an admin there. http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15404

Minimum Requirements CPU: Athlon 64 3000+/Intel 2.8ghz
Graphics: Nvidia 6600/X800GTO (SM 2.0)
RAM: 768Mb/1Gb on Windows Vista
HDD: 6GB
Internet: 256k+
Optical Drive: DVD
Software: DX9.0c with Windows XP

Recommended Requirements

CPU: Dual-core CPU (Athlon X2/Pentium D)
Graphics: Nvidia 7800GTX/ATI X1800XT (SM 3.0) or DX10 equivalent
RAM: 1.5Gb
HDD: 6GB
Internet: 512k+ (128k+ upstream)
Optical Drive: DVD
Software: DX10 with Windows Vista

Im quite surprised at this and am also quite chuffed, since I am getting my X1800Xt soon, and it should run it quite well :D :cool:
So anyway, what does everyone think of these requirements, and how well do you think you'll run it?
 
Good find mate, been wondering this for a while I am not suprised with the recommended spec considering it looks so far and above what we have seen previously in games. I think this will prompt many people including me, a nice little upgrade. :D
 
Only problem with my setup is my RAM (but I should be getting an extra gig) and my CPU, will this game benefit 64 bit CPUs if anyone knows anything about that :confused: Because I've hardly used the power of my CPU :(
 
Hmm looks like crysis will be the game that kills my 7800gtx, the 'recommended' specs are always still way short.

if it uses a 64-bit cpu, then you would need a 64-bit OS too

You'll have to do an awful lot of trading to be able to afford a DX10 card + Vista near its release date :p

So basically , Minimum Requirements = 800x600 , Recommended Requirements
1024x768 , anything higher double the rec spec :D
