Yep, just means the better people get better guns, and the not so good people are stuck with the default pistol + rifle.

As it should be.
You get rewarded better for being better.
But note, what happens when said people who are better use fists, sneak up behind you and one shot whollop you on the head?

You have fists, you have maximum strength/speed/ and cloak, use it, abuse it! STEAL THEIR GUNS!

With the way the sniper rifle > all i really dont think it'll matter, the size of the maps coupled with the viewdistance makes this game sniper heaven. Unless they have some really small maps which totally goes against their mantra of having really large maps with large drawdistances.

Its all about Strategy.... being sniped is easily avoidable if you use the nanosuit correctly...

Not really, with walking the cloak lasts maybe 15 seconds, sprinting your cloak is done in about 5 seconds. Snipers have the luxury of laying there cloaked and that lasts a good couple of minutes. All they have to do is spot you, decloak, fire recloak.

Hmmm i have to say... I havn't become a victim of Cloaked snipers yet... Although i have to agree with you, It will become a Giant problem once everyone knows how to use the nanosuit correctly.

Why do people always whine about snipers? You don't hear snipers whining about MG's being too powerful at close range.

Seriously though, it's not that difficult to figure out how to avoid getting sniped (even on foot). It's also not difficult finding them as they always camp in the same spots.
Not to mention you can see their outline even when they're cloaked.

Anyone know what the deal is with High shader. With Medium i get incredible performance of around 40-50fps Average (everything else high) yet when I set it to High I get lag spikes/stuttering and around 10fps off the average . Do I need more system ram or something . While medium runs nice I'd rather be running the lot "High" with no AA.

orly? I take it this also applies when theyre about a half a maps distance away from you and are still able to hit you? Unless you're a few feet away or just happen to be zooming in on the right area you dont see anything, maybe other maps will differ some but this one is far too sniper orientated, the ease at which you can snipe people in this game just adds to the frustration.

Seems too empy MP does, I think this game is only gonna be good for SP, certainly nothing as fun as TF2 online is.

Well, unless said sniper has a gauss gun. That thing is overpowered.

once everyones learned the maps inside out youll know where snipers will be everytime and counter act this.nothing wrong with snipers at all.dunno what to say about the game on the fence at the moment.

I'm really enjoying it, not problems here and runs well all at high @ 1680x1050. Me = impressed! Roll on SP demo!

I didn't think it was too quiet on the servers last night Will, there were plenty of servers that were full or nearly full.
