Crysis Official Trailer 3

Looks pretty good but neither of these show the proper HD version.

The bottom right blue bar is his energy ? It goes up at the end when he uses max strength but runs out when he runs fast..

Well would that be his energy? No, that's obviously the stamina or adrenaline.

Let me explain about this game. Basically, you are wearing a nano suit that you can change certain properties of to make you either more defensive or faster at running or stronger (so strong you can punch trees, buildings, vehicles, etc and they'll react (such as flying really fast)). Some weapons can only be used in strength mode (such as the minigun (later on in the game so i believe)). You can however jump really far, because not only are your arms strong, you legs are as well. When you are fast, you can't be strong at the same time so you're more vulnerable in one way but much harder to hit. Defensiveness allows you to take hugh amounts of damage but at the expense of strength and speed. Think of it like this:

Speed > Strength > Defense > Strength > Speed

Depending on the situation, you can adapt to whatever you need to be. There's also the fact that you can change and adapt weapons with things like iron sights, scopes, nade launcher, etc.

That should explain it to a lot of people.

Looks good but worryingly easy from the first vid in this thread. But hey, it was only a small part of the game.

come on, its only North Koreans lol, wait for the aliens

but yeah it looks really good

Visually that looks stunning, and could be a lot of fun. But i loved FarCry, and was kind of hoping they would edge more towards 'realism' in future games. To me the more realistic bits of FarCry were by far the best, i.e. well designed open play areas and good enemy soldier AI rather than silly mutants / mad professors.

It certainly seems that Crysis is clearly heading much more in the opposite direction from what i've seen and read - more mutants/aliens and now the suit thingy allowing you to be super strong/fast etc. Not sure this game will turn out as well as i had hoped it would from a gameplay point of view. But we'll see...

You mean Aliens aren't real? Awwwww, spoilt my fun now! :D

It would take a while to get used to being able to jump like that - imagine multi-player!

Yeah, everyone bouncing around doing impressions of a hyperactive Bugs Bunny. Oh the joy....

Still, it might draw the bunnyhopping muppets from some other fps titles to indulge in their fetish on Crysis, which can only be a good thing for the other games.
