Crysis warhead benchmark

As per sig:

Ive noticed this in both Crysis games. But why is there a disparity between the fps reported by the in game console and the information provided by the tool in the timedemo (i.e. green writing)? Its definitely not due to how often they are both updated since the in game console fps is updated more often but never sees the low frame rates reported by the green text.

Here's the results from my desktop and laptop. I can get an extra 15% ish increase on the laptop if I drop back to the 175.75 drivers.

Thanks will give this a go tonight when I'm all done at work. What's the best overclocking utilility to use for my 4870? Is the CCC overdrive worth using or can better overclocking be accheived with something else?

just checking the thread on guru3d and a version that supports steam is coming soon. think i'll have to add more options to my web form and start a new top scores thread (hope i'm not treading on your toes RavenXXX2 :))

Any benches on how it runs on a good old-fashioned 8800 GTX?

I was led to believe Warhead ran much better than Crysis but after falling for that one before I'm getting sceptical in my old age.

Imo it doesn't run as well as Crysis, it's slower on the max settings than previously.
