Hi.

What sort of quality could I expect running XP Professional with 2gb RAM, 8800GT and E6600 @ 3.2Ghz?

Considering buying it along with GTAIV on the 29th.

You should be fine with 1280x with everything on medium - around that.
I run at 1680x with everything on high/very high and manage around 30fps. Thats on a 4GB, 8800GTS 512mb with a 3.7ghz E6600.

I run crysis at 1152x864 all on high (except shadows) and it runs fine. Im using a custom cfg which makes it look a lot better than the normal 'high' settings too.

medium to high at 1280 x 1024 with a dose of aa+af if your lucky.

Could be wrong though as I've only played the demo, still waiting on tech that can actually run the game maxed out before I buy it.

Not sure on processor speed by the way. Just an estimate. Yet to get everything put together. Will probably add another 2gb as well.

I have pretty much the same spec PC and ran Crysis on all high apart from shadows which were at medium but as the game progressed I had to tweak it until eventually everything was on medium at the final area.

1440x900 Most high maybe a few things medium with 0xAA at about 20-25-30 fps.

Depends if you call 'good' equivilant to the 4 year old original on max..

O and you'll be able to run 1280x1024 all high excent shadows medium at a better frame rate than me - which actually looks awesome.

i played crysis on a 8600gts and it played medium fine 20-30fps . definatly a playable fps when on crysis. i dont find it quite an issue as in other games

I've got basically an identical spec and get 25-30fps on high (no custom config) at 1440 x 900.
