I've been getting some unexplained apparently random freezes lately, so I've tried checking my drives for any issues. Trouble is, I don't really know what I'm looking at here.

Anyone knowledgable about such things? :)

Drive E:

Drive F:

Both of these show cautions but what's actually happening here? Drives without cautions have a higher reallocated sector count for example.

Click on Function at the top - Advanced Features - Raw Values - click on 10 [DEC]. This will change it to Base 10 and will give you a clearer indication of the raw values (actual numbers). It does look like the disks are having issues as they've had a few reallocation events and bad sector remaps.

Ah yes, that makes the values make sense at least. Guess I'll just have to keep an eye on it for now.

You can try WD utilities, at least it should try to either remap or mark good the pending sectors. If the reallocated sector count keeps going up i'd look to RMA if under warranty.
