CS:GO Beta keys?

I managed to snap one up from a kind fella in this forum but a friend of mine who has been building a CS:Source map for the last year can't seem to get hold of one. He'd like to release his map on CS:GO when it's released but can't develop the map with no key, also his texture artist is in the same boat.

So, I wondered if anyone has a spare key or two and if not where's the best place to send him to try and get one?

The open beta will start soon. Is it not this weekend?

I am sure Valve stated it would open up a month prior to the games release which is 21st August.

haha, I thought this might be the case. I'll let him know. We were waiting on the rumours for them to go open last weekend but that didn't happen.
