CS:S, Playing on same network, in same server?

Is this possible?

When trying to join the same server as my brother It always fails to connect? We're behind a netgear router and have UPnP on.

you can do it, some server dont allow it think, and sometimes you can get temp blinding, because they think you are ghosting!!, my friend and his bro (and sis lol) can all go on servers at the same time!

you do all need differnet accounts though !!! no way round that

there is no reason why you shouldnt be able to do it, why are you having problems or someting, or was you just checking to make sure your accounts dont get banned!

My brother joins the same servers as me too. We share the internet and have our own accounts.

No idea why it wouldn't work for you :confused:

Try setting +clientport 27006 or above on the second machine's launch options for CSS.
Default is 27005 for CS 1.6, believe its the same for source.
