with events like CGS , I-Series. CSS is at one of it's peaks for people that don't play pub, ie people that stick to matches. You will get bored if you don't find a team to verse others with.

apparently i have dodgy rates :/ an admin told me and tried to make me change them but then i got kicked! I don't even know how they got dodgy

I got kicked from a server for having too low rates, then i set them to the server specified ones and still got kicked. Viva TF2 ! Given up on CS for now.

you probbably missed a zero off the end, just keep them as

Rate 25000

Cl_updaterate 100

Cl_cmdrate 100

or something similar.

Whats the best way to start CSS? my bro used to play it back in the 1.6 days but i was a TFC man back then. And never really gotten round to playing it.

Find a pub and start playing, I recommend office, as its the best.
