I have the game ofm the year edition and it includes CS:S

Not entirely sure, although my normal hl2 doesn't allow me to play the old CS, only CS: Source.

It's funny, I've got the retail version of the first DOD, which I got when it came out, and when I enter the DOD serial into Steam, it gives me access to hl1, Opposing Forces, CS, Blue shift and all those other games.

It will have Counter-Strike: Source with it. All in the Steam FAQ in my sig. You do not get Counter-Strike: 1.6 however.
