CS2/3 on Linux

Hi,

Can ubuntu or mint run Photoshop CS2 or CS3?

If so will it run just as fast as it does on windows or mac?

CS2 works using Wine.
As for speed, hmm not really.

You could (if you are very desperate and time rich) also set up a Windows VM and use seamless RDP to run the Windows app itself. I've done this with other Windows apps and it works really well, though you may as well just go the whole hog and run a VM...

I was worried myself about this until i saw how nice the GIMP looks these days... :cool:

OP If it has to be Photoshop - just don't use the 1.1.23 (latest) version of WINE to install anything - it's really broken!! It won't be in the repositories for most distros anyway - unless you add it in...
