CS3 help?

ok i have a image of the side of a van with the company logo on it. How on earth do i pull just the logo from the image and get it ready for web.

Been looking for stuff on google but i dont think am using the correct search term cause i keep getting rubbish. any help would be great fellas

you could use the pen tool to trace round the logo, then use the move tool to drop it onto another picture, or blank canvas.

Use the marquee, lasso, magic wand or quick selection tools to select the area of the logo, and copy and paste it into a new document. You can use the tools to remove the logo's background and touch it up a bit.

Then use PhotoShop's Save For Web function to optimise it for internet usage.

If the colours are quite different you could use one of the colour channels to make a mask to extract the detail you want.
