CSS Deathmatch with Rats Maps

Sounds fun no? Going to set up a 16 player server later on but don't know if I'm allowed to disclose the server ip

not sure how well it'd work tbh. Most of the rats maps i've played are huge and take ages to find people or get anywhere. Maybe worth trying though.

Yeah surely if it is just a get together of OCuK players it hardly pimping a server. I might be up for it, i love the Rats maps

If that’s the case (that OcUK forums do not permit OcUK’ers to congregate and play together by way of disallowing communication relating to such subjects) than that’s a pretty pathetic rule. Whether such a rule exists or not, I do not know tho - think we need word from a mod!

iirc the "no pimping" rule was because we had so meny people spamming "test my server" "check out my clans server" "will OcUK Fight my Clanzor" "Anyone wanna join my clan"
with any luck this will not happen again.

Has anyone any favourite rat style maps? I've found a decent one called de_dolls but theres just one error in it, tried to get hold of the creator but no joy. Still playable though.

So far I'm putting on:

de_rats_poporoom_b3
de_dolls
de_deathcookin

I'll use sv_downloadurl so they download pretty quickly if you havnt got the maps when you join.

The CSS Deathmatch mod does seem a bit 'hacky' would it be preferable just to play normal CSS but on rats style maps?

tbh the deathmatch and team deathmatch mods for CS:S REALY suck hard, they are quite buggy too

set on 66 yup, 100 doesnt yield enough of an improvement over the extra cpu it needs.
