CSS problem

Just popped my hardrive into another computer as mine is currently out of order, steam starts fine, but when i go to play any of the games it comes up saying there not installed....

do i need to download them again or do i need to put them onto the main harddrive of the computer?

you might need to makeshortcuts to the steam files that are on the old hdd ,

although it works fine for me the way you say you did it in the op

Delete the clientregistry.blob file, may fix it. Else, reinstall Steam over the top of the folders again.
