CSS servers now up

My brother and I are about to play. I'll add in some extra bots but will remove if enough people join (ie 2 on 2). On OcUK 1 (office server).

At some point I'd like people to try to play regularly on one of the servers for a couple of weeks to entice pub players on. Once they know of one then each server advertises the others as well, hopefully attracting them to the others. A prize for the most regular player could be admin capability on the css servers

The server we'll be on tonight is OcUK 1. The office server. The first post in this thread has the IP. If we decide to play other maps then we can move onto ocuk2 (dust2) or ocuk 3 (rotation) afterwards, depending on what people want to play.

The steam group has it scheduled for half 8, which means it'll probably kick off around 9. But I'll be on at the scehduled time most likely.

No must have scripts, though I recommend making an autoexec.cfg file and adding the following lines:

cl_downloadfilter "nosounds"
r_cheapwaterend 1
r_cheapwaterstart 1
r_3dsky 0
net_graph 3
net_graphpos 3

This will allow for better performance (fps) and will stop you from downloading annoying sounds from every server you play on.

Anyway the next scheduled game'll be sometime next week, probably on ocuk3 (rotation server). Hope to see the same number of people there.

Gonna try limiting the awp to 1 a team aswell...

Both OcUK 1+2 (office and dust2) servers have been updated, so there's 1 awp per team, no autosnipers and when you tk you are instantly slayed.

OcUK 3 will be updated in due course...

Both OcUK 1+2 dropped to 20 slots. Might make them easier to fill in future...

OcUK 3 is still 32 slots however...

Me. They are branded ocuk for the community, not for ocuk themselves...

I use Aekeron's box and pay him per month. Also have seperate servers with different games companies. (OcUK 4 is with gameservers, OcUK 3 is with gtxgaming for example).

Two games are scheduled in the Overclockers group for css. Tonight at 8pm on the Dust2 server (OcUK 2 - 217.168.150.203:27034), which currently has 20 slots. And also on Wednesday evening at 8:30pm there is a game planned on the 32 slot map rotation server (OcUK 3 - 94.76.196.213:27015). AWPs now limited to 1 per team and cash refills each round to 16000 on all 3 ocuk servers. I will probably aslso set up a game on the office server for friday, but we'll see how these two go first.

UPDATE: OcUK 1+2 have been dropped for now.

However, OcUK 3 is still running with a new name (nolonger ocuk branded) and I shall try to set up anpother game for sometime this week.

The CSS servers are back online at a new IP address.

New IPs:

OcUK 2 - 94.23.222.136:27034 - 24/7 Dust2, 16k cash refill, 75-tick, 24 slots - Hosted by Frenchtart & Link to Insanity
OcUK 3 - 94.23.222.136:27047 - Map Rotation, 16k cash refill, 66-tick, 32 slots - Hosted by Frenchtart & Link to Insanity

I may change them in future so that we just have 1 running multiple maps, but we'll see what the view is by most.

Stand by for a game to be scheduled at some point.

Yeah I can drop that down. Will also fix the fact that the other server IPs it flashes up are all dead now

Good game though guys, only dropped because I had enough of playing badly....
