CSS Video mode not supported?

I have had to reinstall my graphics drivers and this is coming up with !video mode not supported when I try and load CSS.

I have tried changing my display down but this still does not work

Any ideas?

Click on the game properties from inside steam for CS:S, and then the set lauch options stuff and add:

-w 1024

or

-w 800

to the end of it. Hopefully that'll load the game, and then you can change the resolution when you're in the game and remove that launch option stuff.

I tried the -w1024 but that didnt work. Never tried a lower version. Will try tonight.

Do you know which files you delete that reset to default, somewhere in the program files but I cant remember.
