CSS/Website inspiration/resources sites

Hi,

I am currently starting out into the world of website creation (hopefully be able to get out of sales) and into a job in website creation.

Now I did look at some sites for inspiration on designs etc, just so I know what to aim for from a fresh design perspective, and I remember looking at some sites that did just this, but I cannot for the life of me remember what they are and I didn't bookmark them.

Any good/interesting sites that I could look at would be most helpful.

google the title of this thread you'll get plenty. none is really any better then another tbh. you'll prob end up finding a few places which have sites that you can build and copy without copying.

theFWA i'm struggling to navigate and the ones i've seen are photoshop effect rich sites, perhaps not the best inspiration for someone starting out.

My lecturer suggested this site to us for practising CSS not sure if it is any good or not as i haven't tried it yet, although it may be useful for you.

http://www.1stwebdesigner.com sometimes has some good articles.

Also I find http://css1k.com/ interesting to look at (it's kind of a modern css Zen Garden)
