css wont work in dreamweaver?

when i open my html code in dreamweaver the css doesnt change anything but when i open it up in explorer is does?

Making it has something to do with the path directing to the .css file?

Do you have a sample of what you have in your CSS?

If you open IE and the code is fine and displays correctly then the link should be ok to the CSS file.

Perhaps it's a IE bug - sometimes drop down menus, image alignment etc. doesn't necessarily display correctly in the design view in DW.

are you settings your classes and ids? In DW if the CSS file is linked correctly it will auto populate a drop down box when you type i.e. <div id="

If it doesnt drop it down - its either not linked or your CSS file needs some attention
