The silver screws were just temp until I got hold of some CS black screws, they now blend in superbly.

Hi,

Ah ok, I wasn't sure whether you were adding in postage & import costs etc. Like for like they are not cheaper, but once you factor the price of del for case labs then mine are fractionally cheaper. Case labs cases are punched, they own the equipment to make them and so thats why they can sell them soo damn cheaply! Unfortunately I do not have those facilities at my disposal and I decided to go with laser cutting as I didnt want to be constrained to the limitations of punching. Despite having found the cheapest laser cutters & the cheapest fabricators the case is still very expensive and profit margins minimal.

It's pretty much a mountain mods case which OcUK just recently started selling....

In that final image, either somebodies messed around with the perspective or the Case isn't straight...

It's likely due to default settings in the viewport, pretty sure the models from solidworks with no perspective view set....

That's awesome work:D

Don't suppose its an open source project?? I would love to make a case like that and have access to a laser cutter /folding equipment and powdercoating at my place of work;).

Hes running 1000rpm fans so infact the system is super quiet and has room for expansion if he ever decides to WC the gpu. He told me last night he can even run the processor on idle with the fans completely off!

In the first few pictures, what is the name of the colour on the exterior? Want to have my case internals done in a similar colour but don't know the name! That is, unless it's actually black and the picture just makes it look a different colour!

Hi,

The whole case is held together with countersunk black hex bolts, the only rivets used are those holding the motherboard pci panel to the back case panel, and these are black, but on the next case will be countersunk too. The hex bolts allow the case to be completely stripped down if need be.

The powdercoat is simply satin black, im not aware of what the actual RAL no is tho, i can get a quote for powdercoating if you want your case done.
