Cumulative PS3 sales pass cumulative Xbox 360 sales in Europe?

I played a lot of the original Flatout.
I played Flatout 2 to death.

Until I got Motorstorm!

Flatout 2 is a great game*, and Motorstorm is even better!*
Saying that, after playing the demo on the PSP, I am considering getting Flatout 2 again ;)

Vin.

* = IMO!

From studying 4 years at Uni and that I probably look into the little things a lot more than other people do in regards to models and textures, it's often the small things. A lot of games are quite predictable in their designs, quite often Uncharted wasn't, not in terms of game play (where as you said, shooting set-pieces etc..), but in terms of textures and models.

Many, in fact most, all have predictable designs, even the top games like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Halo 3 are quite predictable, you know what you're going to see based on a location.
Take the middle east for example, a very popular environment in a lot of games these days, you know what you're gonna see in that level in terms of models and textures - but anyone who's been somewhere like that or there knows that it doesn't all look like that, in fact, most of it doesn't. It's that level of predictability. It's the little nuances in these, it's hard for me to verbalize what's in my head though, so I'm probably coming off as a bumbling fool.

Indeed. I think you just have to "click" with a game.....and then you kinda ignore their drawbacks. e.g. Mass Effect is excellent even though a lot of the missions are really repetitive. (go to X planet go to X stronghold fight in X boxey room = win)

I would guess its the story that made the difference...and Uncharted's story didnt draw me in at all.
