Never really did this, however there was a trend when someone fancied dropping one in the common-room at breaktime, to walk behind a victims head on a sofa and do it next to the back of their head side on, maybe that was a south wales thing..

I always though crop dusting was letting a silent one go, then as its miasma spread amongst people close by they all move away from the source of the odour, leaving a clear circle around the responsible party
