Current 6300's doing well?

What so cars are like chips, you can get a "friday special" sort of thing and it's down to a batch by batch basis?!

Every processor is different. But the batchs are similar

So if one processor in a batch is good for OC'ing, then the rest will be about the same

No idea what mine is but it was bought about 3 weeks ago. I think it can go further though

What vcore is that 3.6Ghz at? (and MB and RAM?)

I have a week 28A @ 3.4Ghz just now using 1.325v :D Going to try & squeeze a bit more out of it yet though

Rob

Probs seen results posted about here, 28B runs 3.4ghz prime stable w/ just under 1.3v on stock air. Pi1m at 3.7v+ again stock cooler and 1.32v load.

I bought mine last week and its stable at 3.2GHz at the moment on 1.35v. Have had it up to 3.4 for a quick blast on 3D mark and Super Pi and it seemed to last out those.. Didn't have time to test it more so have left it at 3.2 for now. :)

How do I find out what week mine is?
Here is the code from the top.. L628A094, does that mean week 28A?

Just wondering what Ocuk's current batch are like for oc'ing
There rubbish! If you install them your PC will be slow like a Pentium 200MHz and you will lose 100FPS from all your game scores! :) :D

That sounds gOOd, would be better if I could actually see your screen shots (inc stability tests).

I have got an 'A' class CD2 waiting to be installed, but most of the results I am seeing are from people using the B stepping, oh well . . .

Does anyone have a 29A? Mine arrived yesterday along with most of my stuff. I'm just waiting on my case to come today so I can put it all together. :)

i have a 29a. i have it 8 hours orthos stable at 3.01 ghz with max load temps of 50.

it was my first attempt at overclocking it so haven't pushed it any further yet.

its in a ds4 with arctic freezer 7 and crucila aniversary

Got mine a day or two ago (a 29a) running at 3150mhz (450x7) at stock volts(1.32?) and cheap cooler. This is on a DS3 with geil 6400 (5-5-5-15). Load temps 50~53C.

Once i get my water cooling sorted, im gonna try for 3500.

One thing i did notice is with the DS3, it will automatically raise Vcore if you dont set it manually. It wanted to run at 1.42v @ 2.8ghz, once i'd noticed that, and set Vcore to 1.32v, the clocking got easier.

Hi all,

Just to add my result, Recieved my xmas prezzy from Ocuk (ok i paid for it)
C2D 6300 and its a 28B (L628B111)

Result so far:
3.5G :D got the vcore @1.45 while plaing about but will bring it down in due course when i find the best speed/volts, got a feeling it's not going much higher though as my gig of geil 6400 seems to be topping out around the 500mhz mark :( isnt too shabby though realistically :p will probably try looser timings and see what hapens but so far i'm a happy bunnny.

Have to admit it seems to destroy benchies, even the 3d series seem to go pretty well even with only an x800 gfx.

I bought an OEM E6300 from OcUk yesterday, not sure what week it is. At the moment its at 2.8Ghz @ Stock Volts (1.25). Gonna have a play around next week I think and get it over 3Ghz.
