I've got a 29A E6600 which is orthos stable at 3.6GHz on stock voltage.
Although I've also had a 29A E6700 which topped out at 3.5 Ghz orthos stable on 1.5 V.
Its not just the batch code that matters, its luck as well. I think the silicon from the middle of the wafer tends to produce the cherry chips, so be wary of chasing a particular batch code.
