Try an Audi A8 instead. You will be impressed.
Hmm, never thought of that! your quite right, they are a bit big, that said, your hardly stuck for legroom in an e38 7 or, e39 5 I'm 6ft 3in and have lots of legroom.Dr Who said:isnt it about time BMW started using compact clutches and smaller bellhousings?
Their transmission tunnels are rediculously wide still...

I've spent most of this week driving the E39 and trust me - you can't really say its 'not big enough', it's... quite huge.
Rilot said:It's not about the size inside, it's about the wheelbase. A longer wheelbase gives a smoother ride.
I do disagree on your point about the E39 being huge inside. The space in the back is really quite poor compared to that of the 7 series, A8, Phaeton etc.

Then why not forget about an e39 and buy an e46 3 Series?[TW]Fox said:The day I care about space in the back is the day my passengers contribute to the cost of the car
Is considerably better in the e38.....[TW]Fox said:- space in the front, however
