Hey guys,
My specs on my current pc are:
AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition
Sapphire 512mb HD 4850
Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 770
Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 HyperX Memory
Corsair 400W CX PSU

This setup has served me well but now I am being left behind, I was trying to play APB but it seems even on lowest settings and 800x600 resolution my fps was bad.

I have about ~£200 spare and I am thinking of buying a 955 since my mobo is an AM2+ socket and also I want to get a 5850 but the problem is will I have to buy a new PSU aswell?

Any input would be appreciated,
Thanks

The 5850 only draws about 40W more than your current card so adding an X4 955 BE into the mix the system will be using about 350W.
This gives you some room to play with an overclock.
Although I'd recommend getting a new CPU cooler if you want to do this.

New CPU and Graphics Card will provide a very noticeable boost!

Okay I have made my order now, thanks for the help. Will hopefully be playing APB in hd @ 60fps on Tuesday :D

Nope :)

Only after a new mobo.

Cooler you've listed is crap to be honest. If you set up your trust I'll link you to a vastly superior cooler (4.0GHz cooling with 5'c headroom :D) for £15 inc P&P
