Current timeframe on returns from MS for Xbox 360's

Rightio, my Xbox went RROD last night... Was only 5 months old too :-(

Need to send it off to MS for fixing. How long are the returns on average taking so far for people that have had to return it? I doubt I am looking before christmas am i?

If you bought it from a high st retailer, take it back to them and they might replace it there and then.
A certain chain of game shops did when mine suffered from a rrod.

It was bought from a certain mass marketer high street store with crappy sit at home and do your christmas shopping via catalogue so I'm not sure... Plus I would have to find my reciept.

If you don't have the receipt, bank statement would do, though I imagine it will be more hassle getting them to swap it.

mine back in july was bang on 25 working days and that was becuse they were adding the new heatsink and a new drive i did'nt have a POP on me i just told them the date of the console (above the av port) and all was fine , just compleated mass effect with no probs
