Put in DDR2 4200 and will it just run at the max it can? Ie 3200?

Im not sure how to find out the max seepd my motherboard can accept but as long as it "reduces" it to what it can handle then it will be fine?

Thanks

I used to have a Dell. I put pc2-6400 ram in it and it was auto underclocked to pc2-3200.

The only potential issue i can think of is if the ram won't boot with 1.8v. Some overclocking ram needs more. 99% of the time this won't be problem, esp as it is being underclocked.

Hope this helps.
