Hi all. Currently pondering a triple XR3501 setup (if I decide to absolutely splurge!). Looks to be damn epic with that heavy curve...

This one;

My question is, do nVidia cards run at full clocks if 3 monitors are connected? They'll all be connected by DP if that makes any kind of difference (doubtful though).

Currently running 2 monitors and that is fine clocks-wise :)

cheers

If my **** poor memory serves me correctly, the clocks run at something like 600Mhz when you have 3 monitors connected instead of 300Mhz. Never an issue for me as my cards were water cooled and **** the electric bills and **** the electric companies.....*****!

God these monitors are tempting!!! If they had Gsync I'd already have slapped 'em on my card :D

(but then the bill would be £600 higher!!!!)

edit - On the other hand, I'd be silly to buy before O Rift is out...

I kinda want a setup like that with the neptune triple monitor stand but it only supports upto 32" but I'm thinking of 28" max for my needs anyway. The continuous curve over 3 screens should be pretty sexy. I'm hoping freesync has more options available next year in the 120hz ish range with thin bezels.

I have done triple monitors (3x3D surround was amazeballs with games like Trine) and whilst it was a great show off piece, I don't really miss it but like you Jedi, I am proper looking forward to VR and hopefully will be able to snag an early release of the Vive.
