The amusing thing is that he's paying £17.99/month when he could be paying £0.00/month.
Currently with virgin, they have better deals on that what i'm paying, options?

he pays for one service, (10mb ntl probably)
then uses chipped cable box and chipped cable modem, you get max packages then basically

Modems aint "chipped" nor are the cable boxes.
And no, they wont, any measure they put in to stop cloners they will just get around it.
Before STM cloners used to really bother me, but since VM have proven they dont care about customers and introduced all day STM, i just dont seem to care anymore.
TV isnt worth paying for anyway, nothing but crap on it and none stop adverts

I agree that TV isn't worth paying for....but as it's not worth paying for, it's also not worth watching. Plus that way you save money on your TV license
I don't care too much about people getting free cable internet/channels. It's 'naughty' I guess, but meh.
