Curry question

I've often thought this. I think Balti dishes have more peppers and onions, less base sauce. A balti is cooked differently.
 
I phoned up my Indian and asked him. He said the balti is not so sweet, spicier and cooked with peppers and onions. It’s also served with plain naan. If I get one I’ll report back how it was.
 
I had one, it wasn’t nice. Too sweet. I don’t know why I have have tikka masala style curries. I find them sickly after a few mouthfuls.
