Custom Loop Guide - How to Watercool your PC

Haha :D

Think it had a lot to do with Erika saying how cheap her blackberry would be to replace in comparison. Was an epic win though :D

Almost at the point of doing my purchases and I thank you for sharing your experience as an introduction to water cooling. I have to say only been on air before but sourcing suppliers who have the stuff you want, is more than frustrating, this is to save postage. More than one firm stocks my requirements but never has all my needs. I can't remember this happening so much to my air builds but I am 61 so I may have forgotten LOL;)

Haha no worries mate, and good luck :)

No worries :)

I'm glad to have helped so many people :). I've unfortunately had to sell my rig, but as soon as my next student loan comes through, I'm going to start work on a new project. Get ready for project FT-W

Thanks guys :)

As for draining and flushing your loop, it's easy. Just disconnect the bottom most part of your loop, and then run the pump for a little bit :)

I sense an influx of watercooling newbies from Christmas! If anyone has any questions, post them here and I'll endeavour to help :)

The most risky is nickle or copper mixing with aluminium.

Aluminium products aren't very common though.. we're talking some older aquacomputer reservoirs and the older phobya extreme radiators.

fittings are usually coated brass and rads have brass terminals usually too.

I mixed nickle/copper/ally with premix coolant that contain corrosion-inhibiting stuff and had no corrosion issues.

This :)

Thanks for the kind words Mak :)
