Hi Guys,

I'm Looking to get a custom loop for my setup and need help with finding the right parts.

I have a i5 (Socket 1155) and a GTX 660 ti.

Cheers :D

Hi,

Tube or bay res?
Barbs or compression fittings?
Is your case a Phantom 410 or 530?
Are you using the optical bay?
How many hard drives are you using?

I would look through some watercooled case gallerys and try finding your case to give you some ideas and do a bit of research.

If you just want something basic you could get a kit from ocuk.

Tube or bay res? I would prefer Tube
Barbs or compression fittings? Whichever is best
Is your case a Phantom 410 or 530? I have a NZXT Phantom at the moment
Are you using the optical bay? Im not using it
How many hard drives are you using? 2 HDD

Big case to fill ;)
I prefer compression fittings myself.
Bitspower do a nice range or monsoon check them out on the ocuk site.
You could attach the tube res to the case next to the mobo or to the HDD cages

Ahh ok... I was reading somewhere that you shouldn't mix the metals as they can corrode... Also have very little knowledge in water cooling id really appreciate if someone could spec me a Loop

Any parts on OCuk would be fine to mix and match. Galvanic corrosion happens with more reactive metals than ones used in watercooling. Brass, copper and nickel is perfectly fine to mix in a loop.
