Hi

Does anyone know where I can buy custom made dog tags that are actually or decent metal on not cheap thin pieces of metal?

Dogtags are cheap thin pieces of metal. Think of their purpose. You could try to get the special ones with the rubber edging to stop them clinking, but I doubt there's much demand for heavyweight ones.
 
Could you recommend any sites that have some fairly quality ones that are one some lightweight metal?
 
my dad got me some from america with my cs name on them

had the rubber round the edge (called a silencer i think)

not much help but im sure a quick google will find you some

are u after actual dog tags or some fancy jewelry ones on a proper chain?
 
My bro has a set with the silencers on them, but my other bro in the army says that it makes no real difference, besides they're only thin pieces of brass.

It cost him £40 for his name and d.o.b. out of the local jewellers
 
Best place is your local town, the good ones are sterling silver/stainless steel tags. They should not cost more than £25 for a good custom pair.
 
I'm fairly sure you can pick them up dead cheap from an army surplus store.












Did anyone else see what I did there? :D
