Custom mixed touch up paint?

Anyone know of someone who can colour match touch up paint. I have the paint code for my car as it was from the factory but 50 years of sun fading makes me dubious about how well the new paint supplied by Owners Clubs etc. would match the old paint.

I don't want to spend a fortune on it (say up to £60? for enough to cover a few manky spots of paint and rust treat then re-seal a few bits and bobs on the sills etc), worst case i can use the aerosol and sand it back slightly then blend it in.

Halfords stuff is supposed to be quite good, I think they can match the paint rather than the code

Pop down to a local body shop and ask them if they will mix some up for you?

Surely you'd never be able to blend new paint with 50 year old paint?

This is your best bet.

I'll facetiously suggest you can get a pot of touch up paint and leave it to age for 50 years, it should then be a good match.
