Custom Snapbacks?

Like the first, any examples of core?

Poisound have a lot of great tracks.

Check out Adapted Records as well, their artists are fantastic :)

I couldn't be bothered reading pages and pages of bickering so if the question has been answered or these sites already posted I apologise:

http://stitchtostitch.co.uk/13.html

http://customsnapbacks.com/

Hopefully one of those are of any good to you.

Thanks a lot! I'll take a look :)

Yes you probably do, i post a lot of crap (And the odd bit of useful advice in SA but that goes without saying). But i don't constantly remind people of what it is i'm doing which is what the majority of people here are getting at. E.g why was it necessary to include this in the OP "I've just been booked in to play a set on the 17th. As a few of you know, I've just been signed to Hellsing Divide" If you'd just posted "Where can i buy a custom snapback?" half the **** would have been avoided. Jus' sayin'... Keep doing what you're doing by all means, but a lot of posts clearly get on your nerves, mine included, i'm just giving my opinion on how to avoid that.

Your posts don't get on my nerves at all :) I can sort of see where you are coming from. However I disagree. Whatever the situation, I and many others try to give as much background info on a situation, to make it easier to find a solution, whether it be relationship advice, speccing a gaming PC, issues with software or even speccing custom snap backs. I'm honestly not trying to show off in this case, I was just applying the same reasoning :)

Just to keep off topic, my 2 cents worth:

You do pretty much take every opportunity to mention your DJing, e.g.

Not an option with the stuff I had to carry, and it wasn't cheap, had to park close to the hotel, so ended up parking in Mayfair car park.

Lol, I've had to carry CDJs across south London for my mates' club night. That was horrible.

Do you see the difference? FWIW I don't have a problem with your posts at all, and yeah, be proud of your achievements by all means. But you do do what Fluttershy said, a lot. And not even to provide background etc, sometimes it just doesn't seem necessary. Just being objective :)

Now, back on topic! :p

I do get what you are saying to be fair :D

I don't realise I'm doing it half the time, just seems that every experience I have had recently has been to do with music :D

If you are going to wear one, don't overkill the image by wearing out 'loud' clothes.

Haha, not planning to :)

You should get a load of business cards printed with UV ink instead. They'll be much cheaper.

When you're doing your set you could wait for a "drop" (or whatever it is you disc-jockeys get up to these days) and when the music kicks back in you could throw them in to the crowd (remember to trim the sharp edges).

Essentially you should try to recreate to intro to Blade, but with UV business cards instead of blood.

To be fair, Hazard chucks CDs into the crowd during his sets, it's a good marketing tool :)

Every time i go to an invent and see the usual idiots wearing snapbacks & vests or topless I am always disgusted at the idiots my scene now attracts.

Just saying

Yes stereotypes.

Genuinely laughing at the amount of abuse shayper is getting for asking about getting a snapback made...

I'd rather read this than more "Spec me a toilet roll holder" or "Hi, I'm kwerk, here is another completely nonsense thread but I'm back from my ban! Time to post drivel"

Give the guys at http://bluebirdpressstudios.tumblr.com/ an email, they might be able to put you in touch with somebody :)

Haha, it does seem to be a general theme :D

However this is marketing, I never ever wear snapbacks :D

Well, I suppose you would be marketing to your audience.

i.e the kind of people who wear snapbacks, aka douchbags.

What I'm trying to say is your audience are dribbling tards.

Not to say your music is bad, I had a listen and considering I'm not a fan of your chooses genre, I can at least say it doesn't suck as bad as most of the dross I hear.

I actually think there's a compliment in there :D

And after being to fabric, I can safely say that a lot of the audience will indeed be dribbling tards :D

So your saying anyone that takes a liking to drum and bass or any music that shayper plays of creates is a dribbling tard?

I'm managing to post this without leaving a puddle of drool on my laptop..

To be fair, most of the audience are dribbling tards in fabric/cable :D

But you are right, perfectly normal people like drum and bass, Janesy B for ex... oh wait, that's not right :D

Many years ago, I used to DJ at a local rock/metal club. Two hours on a Friday night and the same on a Saturday night. It wasn't that difficult.

Different scene, different style :)

Rock DJing is generally a case of fading in, fading out. With EDM, you need to be doing a whole lot more. Beatmatching, pitch bend riding, crossfade chopping, double dropping, bass switching, and use a load of effects, like filter and EQ kills to get it just right.

Using autosync, as I used to and unfortunately as quite a few DJs do these days, takes a lot of the skill out of it. True DJing is hard work, you are constantly adjusting stuff, reading the crowd, making sure the next mix is absolutely perfect to get them going :)

What equipment did you use?

No, hes saying the type of people who wear snapbacks to raves are usually the idiots who go around with their tops off, barging through the crowd starting trouble, and it's true.

Wrong raves.

At the ones I go to, everyone is too loved up to do that, all they want is music :)

Stuff like Chase and Status just attracts ****s. Something like Hazard, Original Sin, and most club nights from lesser known imprints (Playaz, Digital Soundboy, Dub Police) are really great :)
