thoughts idea how can i improve it

Personally I'd choose a DDC pump over the D5

Since your using 1/2" tubing you might want to get jubilee clips to make sure everything is tight, sure someone else can let you know how the plastic clips should fair on 1/2 though. I've only used 7/16 tubing :)

i'll ignore the fact that the pic comes from a competitors website and just tell you that the XSPC reservoir isn't that popular due to the mixing old galvanic corrrosion thing caused by mixing Aluminium and Copper in the same loop.

Theres really no need for a passive res anyway if you are using a radiator. The passive res acts as a radiator (poorly) and a res in one. As suggested get a mcres if you are short on space, an EK res if you like the cylinder res or an XSPC acrylic drivebay res if you like a bit of bling.

You might also want to consider using masterkleer 7/16 tubing which is less than half the price of tygon and gives a tighter fit around the barbs with no notable loss in flow. Don't forget to buy some form of anti algae /coolant.

yea sorry about that just been shopping around for ideas and prices nothing against ocuk as i just got the below rig from yourselfs, but will look in to a different res and jubilee clips, apart from that is the rest of it ok :)

I used them plastic clips on my last loop and jubilee on my new one, only difference between the 2 is the jubilee clips are easier to remove and last longer so which ever is cheapest will do.

I would also change the res to one suggested by w3bbo but abit of pre-planning helps as it depends on your case and were you can/want to mount it.
Cant fault the fuzion or pa120.2/120.3 & the D5 is still a good pump, either that or a DDC would be a good buy :)

Tygon is the best quality 1/2" tubing ive used but is expensive, can't comment on masterkleer 7/16 as ive never used it yet ;)

DDC is smaller, easier to fit, just as good, just as reliable, can be fitted with a range of after-market tops to improve flow, about the same price.

7/16" squeezed over 1/2" barbs for a tigher fit? or need 7/16" barbs?

I know noob question but I am reading round at the min about water cooling and just wanted to make sure I got the right end of the stick, and not the brown smelly part :D

Masterkleer 7/16 is great with 1/2 barbs. Boil up some water, heat the ends of your tubing up and it'll slip onto 1/2 barbs with no problem.

So confident in the tight fit my old W/C setup used this tubing with no clips, only cable ties lol :D

I wouldn't order from there either, I once did because only they had PTS DDCT-01s in stock in the UK (or so I was lead to believe by their site). Never got my dispatch email, considering this and the fact other UK stores didn't have them I put two and two together that they in fact, didn't have any.

I had to email them to enquire if the products I had bought had ever actually existed! No email from them once they realised they didn't actually have the stock.

I cancelled the order and took my custom else where.

That Laing DDC pump comes with 3/8 barbs looking at the spec sheet, get an aftermarket top or buy from somewhere else that has it already fitted(increases performance like MikeTimbers said), that way you can use 1/2 inch barbs. That's what I'm gona do

what do you mean by aftermarket top  sorry the water noob in me keeps trying to break out

The actual pump is just the bottom part with the moving parts in. The top part can be unscrewed and replaced with other, third party top peices that take different barbs or have the inlets in better places.

Try doing a google image search on 'xspc delta pump top' to see some examples.
