Customer Service

Does your software track how many people just hang up ;) and move to another, better, service provider?

A. We are not a service provider.
B. Yes, we can see abandonment rates, and they are down 30% since I came in to power, mwahahaha!
 
I provide excellent support customer service :D it's all about being able to deliver the worst news without it sounding that bad.

As a customer I dont give a flying **** if your system is old, and doesn't work. If what I'm asking for is technologically possible in this day and age then it is fair game to ask for it

Well go cry to my manager then. Aint my fault if the system doesn't work is it? It's their for not replacing the sodding thing.
If the system doesn't do it, then it doesn't do it but the customers nowadays are obviously to thick to understand that concept.

At the end of the day I couldn't care what some overly demanding customer wants. I work in a budget supermarket (Tescos) you want quality service go to a quality shop.

I remember walking into a Waitrose once as I needed the toilets and had no idea where they were, asked at the front desk and they politely told me where to find them. Afterwards I went to their garage to run my car through the carwash and the bloke behind the counter was friendly and seemed happy to be there.

Later on that day I had to stop at Morrisons to pick some chicken up, when I asked someone who worked there where it was, I was pointed in the vague direction with a mumbled "over there". All of that without him once actually stopping what he was doing.


What I do hate in my line of work is when a customer tries to tell me how the products I have sold for the past 11 years work. Trust me, after being here for that length of time I do know my way around them.
 
You forgot about the foreign callcenters... It is allways nice to speak to someone in my own language when i phone them.

EDIT: haha some people jumped in before me

those parhetic foriegn call centres have a habit of just cutting people off when they dont know or dont want to know more recently, atleast in my experience anyway.
