Customizing XP

Hi all,

I'm looking at customizing my XP with a different visual style, and would like some advice. I have seen something called 'Neowin UXTheme Multi-patcher' and would like to know if this is safe to use? Any chance of it screwing up Windows?

Would you recommend patching uxtheme.dll over using something like StyleXP or WindowBlinds, or are they better? I need something that won't use up much memory as I use my PC for gaming quite often.

ive used the theme patcher you speak of in the past. it has never messed my installation up.

Stylexp and windows blinds will run a process in the background which will take up system resorces.

if you patch your uxtheme, you should download theme files from deviant art, they have loads of nice ones

I use replacer.zip it is safe and lunar element 5 theme black compact
use the uxtheme.dll and msstyles it doesnt use anything i can email you it if you like?
