Good evening gents,

I've started re-doing my CV and i've seen people ask you guys on your opinion on it and i was wondering if you would do the same!

Please can you have a look through and see if everything is alright or if you think something needs changing!

Thanks,

Cas.

So your link doesn't work.

As for the cv, I would drop the colour, make the CV title bigger. Also, talking of size, it's far, far far too verbose. Your education takes up effectively an entire page - mine takes up about 3 lines. Try and bullet point the job description (focus on skills), and drop the qualification modules etc.

Your "OBJECTIVES" aren't objectives. It should be something like:

"Successful eunuch seeking to expand skills and face new challenges in investment banking blah blah blah".

Oh, I don't think prospective employers will appreciate "I don’t trust you guys enough to give away that kind of detail ;)" :D

Well, the link didn't work. What's your point?

Having said that, I agree with you on the CV, particularly with regards to the verbosity and the education section. Four pages is far too long and I would (and almost did) stop reading at the second page. Two pages is the standard for a very good reason and you're simply not at a level where four pages is needed. Very, very few people are.

On the upside, the use of colour does break the sections up and I'd keep that. Can you share your CV with your peers to see how others have approached theirs? There are many good templates online as well.

Wow, wow, wow wow is my first impression.

4 pages? You only have a couple of years experience, 2 pages at most.

Why so many different jobs that only last a couple of months?
Bullet point jobs
Get rid of most of your qualifications, no point in listing all your modules, just have the date and your qualification. GCSE's just put "7 GCSEs".

That's my first impression. Having said that after graduating last year I haven't had anything but a christmas temp job, but then 3 interviews so mine can't be too bad. :p

- 2 pages, got seriously bored and gave up.

- Each of the 5 sentences in that objectives thing starts with an I. Very basic language skills if I'm honest.

- Most recent education first, list them in a line not down the page wasting space.

- Just more punchy and shorter bullet points rather than 'I am a man who has a hand who does jobs and i like doing jobs I am good at counting and staff and windows and office and backup', etc etc.

- And stop using I I IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIi ii IIiIiiiiI IIi

Bare in mind that most CVs are only glanced over.

-I would take out the Objectives bit completely.
-Make the contact bit as compact as possible (they will already have your contact details, or if they think your CV is good they will look for them on the page(/s)
-Make the education/qualifications MUCH smaller...I'm talking a few lines.
-Need to be far more concise, try bullet points to get your main points across.
-Most recent stuff should come first in each section. Ie most recent education comes first (its the most important)
-Altogether try to make it as concise as possible.

Disclaimer: I may talk rubbish.

It's presented well and looks professional, but as he others have said, too much text.

A potential employer will see that and be like tl;dr.
