I thought it was interesting to compare the Hollywood image of the supreme hackers PC against the real hackers PC ...

Within the cyber security industry, this is often known as the "CSI effect". Its something you have to work against when talking to businesses who think hacking is some magic concept thanks to its media depiction

Its the same with people who work in security and show people CCTV and then get surprised when the image quailty gets worse when zoomed in.

If something in the image is unreadable in the normal view why would it all the sudden become readable when zoomed in.

It's not magic, it's just hitting random keys quickly in short bursts while being distracted, socially awkward and at least a bit weird to show how utterly focused you are :)
 
WHat show was it that they are being hacked and two of them share one keyboard, that cracks me up everytime.
