*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

No, did the Panam one where you escape with her out of the city hoping to find a cure. I quite liked that ending. Seemed to fit well. Some of the others sound quite abrupt!
Seems you missed some side content then. What I said is a side mission as far as I understand.

I understand I can't control what people do, but I can ask for consideration?! That's all I did- ask.

It's not so much a debate as a question of common sense for me.

I mean of course you can ask others for consideration and it would be absolutely lovely if everyone did exactly what you wanted, but if you really genuinely didn't want to read any spoilers then the only way that you and you alone can be 100% sure to avoid them would be to leave the thread until you've finished the game, rather than staying here and asking for others to be considerate and spoiler themselves and hoping that most of them might.

For me one option has zero risk of reading spoilers, one has a higher risk, so I know which I'd choose and it just seems like common sense to me.

Again, I don't mean to be harsh but there seems to be one very easy option for me. However I feel I'm dragging the thread OT for which I'm sorry, I'll shut up about this now :D

Anyone else having issues with the fps tanking after a while randomly? Had the Afterburner overlay on today and it seems the GPU power drops hugely, causing the fps to come with it. Talking 60-70fps in most scenarios down to 35ish. Watching it today, during normal performance the gpu is pulling around 230w of power, then it seems to cap itself to 150w or so randomly. No other game does this, the card is stock and power issues aren't likely a thing with a new RM750 psu

Is it just me, or is armour completely pointless? I'm playing on hard difficulty, and before, I had a bunch of random mods on my armour for about 400-odd armour total. Decided to craft a bunch of epic armadillos to bring me up to 1.8k armour, and it feels exactly the same as before. I'm still getting two or three shot by piddly Tyger Claws, and I'm level 35...

On Hard Difficulty - yeah it's the difference between 2-3 shots killing you in very little armour vs 6-7 shots with lots. However the extra time taken to kill you can make a difference if it allows to take cover or take a health spray etc top recover some health.
On Easy Difficulty - Armour makes you virtually immortal :D

I had around 6.8k Armour in my current build and even playing in Hard difficulty it's still a little too easy TBH so I've dropped my "Looks stupid but has great stats" clothing to "Looks cool but is weak" and the game is far more challenging if you try to Rambo the missions. However if you play Stealth (my choice) or NetRunner then you're still going to be fairly safe unless you get caught out, which is when things get interesting :D

For example the game has a lot of "verticality" which people don't use that much as most stay at street level to face off against people, where as I use double jump to access rooftops etc to get more visibility on enemies who then can't hide behind things (or Legendary Ping too) allowing my Overwatch silented Sniper or Silenced Overture Pistol to get easier headshots without alerting the rest of the group.

Dunno, I guess it's a balance issue - my armour isnt that high, about 300 i think, I'm about level 20, I can get away with guns blazing in most situations, as I have health recharge perks and about 60 health inhalers as I dont need them that often, as I can run and hide for a few secs to boost my health back. then jump into the fray again.

I tend to find, fights are a cake walk or I get pwned straight away.

Thts something I was going to ask actually - when you hover over challenges on the map - i tend to go for ones listed as 'moderate danger' - ones listed as high danger - i tend to get wasted pretty quick.

Do they level up as you level your character up, or to 'high danger' ones become 'moderate danger' as you level?

After you get Panams sniper and craft a legendary version of it and full upgrades, everything and everyone becomes a potato. 30k+ damage on headshots anyone?

Depends at what level the NPCs are, how close you are to them (there is some sort of ballistics calculations involved) and weaknesses. Leveling up is the RPG aspect of every action RPG out there (aka stupid).

I installed the game when it was released but not played it yet (damn Shadowlands!). I opened GoG Galaxy today and it started doing an update but it looks like it's downloading the whole game again, currently on 8% 3GB/54GB. Is it supposed to do this?

I would guess it's a massive cumalitive patch, so not supprising, given how vocal everyone has been about the bugs on launch.

Logistically speaking, it might just be the best way to do it rather than applying lots of tiny bug fixes over a period of time. The update is probably just downlodaing the entire game again, pretty much, but with the fixes applied already.

I found an iconic revolver blueprint, can't remember the name of it but it does stupid damage.

It'll crit for 150k through a wall without any issues.
